Sean Patrick Sullivan
was born in Lawton in 1963. He attended the University of Oklahoma and Cameron University. Sean received his Juris Doctor degree in 1989 from the University of Tulsa Law School. For a brief period he practiced in Tulsa for a plaintiff’s firm and started his practice in workers’ compensation law. Later, he returned to Lawton to practice and joined the family practice in 1995. Since that time, he has devoted his entire practice to the area of federal disability law.
Sean is a sustaining member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives (NOSSCR) since 1995, and is also a member of the American Association for Justice. He concentrates his practice at the hearing process level, and he has participated in over a thousand social security disability hearings since 1995, primarily at the administrative level. He has also tried cases before the Board of Veterans’ Appeals. Sean is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Oklahoma, the U.S. Western District Court of Oklahoma, and the CAVC. Sean is accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Sean became the firm’s managing attorney in 2007. His wife, Lori, works at our front desk. She is our appointment manager and traffic director, in short, a most vital part of the team. Their daughter, Abigail, has become our scanning specialist in her after school hours. Anita Sallee is our chief administrative assistant, and has been with our family firm for more than 15 years.
Carol S. Sullivan
was born in the Tulsa area, and attended the University of Tulsa, Oklahoma State University, and Cameron University. She and Patrick were married in Tulsa. Their son, Sean, became a lawyer in 1989. Carol received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma Law School in 1992. In 1993, she and Patrick began to concentrate their practice in the area of social security law. In 1995, Sean became a member of the firm. Carol is a sustaining member of NOVA, and a member of the American Association for Justice. In 2008, she represented a veteran before the CAVC in cooperation with the Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program of the National Veterans Legal Services Program (NVLSP). She is a member of NOSSCR. Carol is admitted to practice in Oklahoma State courts, the U.S. Western District Court of Oklahoma, and CAVC. Carol is accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Patrick N. Sullivan
(1930-2007) was born in Seminole, Oklahoma. He came from a family of teacher/educators. He graduated from the University Of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Laws degree. He established his practice in 1961. Patrick was engaged for many years in the general practice of law. In his younger years, he was awarded a national champion debate trophy, and he enjoyed being a trial lawyer. Patrick represented many clients in both civil and criminal law, and many of these individuals continue to refer their friends and family members to our firm. He served on the Oklahoma Ethics Commission from 1989 to 1991. Patrick began to limit his practice in the area of social security law in 1993. He retired to our practice in South Texas in 2000, on the Gulf Coast. Our firm continues to maintain the practice he helped establish in Lawton, Oklahoma City, and Corpus Christi, Texas. Patrick was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
